So when I got these socks I was expecting immediate relief, which I didn’t get somewhat. But nonetheless I spent the whole day til bedtime wearing them in my tennis shoes and flip flops that have some arch support. And around that night I noticed my heel wasn’t killing me as much as it usually does after being on my feet all day. I do recommend these because they are comfortable and they do compress the area and ankle (which was a plus for me) which with wearing arch support shoes or propping your feet up help your plantar fasciitis heal more quickly and help with swelling/inflammation which helps the pain in the long run. But if you’re looking for something to prevent your feet from he injured you need a specific shoe or insoles for that. These socks are more for aiding your recovery.

I was surprised to get so many strong, heavy knit, fitted socks in this order. I’ve washed them a number of times and they haven’t lost shape or purpose. My feet hurt a LOT with this plantar f, but I can actually sleep in these socks because there’s no toes, so they really do help. it’s winter, so I’m good wearing them with shoes and no toe covering, but not sure how it will be in the summer with tennies. I’m really pleased with this purchase. When you are in pain, you search for relief and these, along with my sole inserts have really helped.
